Description: This script was inspired by the FEMCI page on Unit Consistency. The script will change the current femap model between in-lbf and mm-ton. These are the two unit systems Ian works in the most. *Note, it will not scale results, only the model. Although it does take care of the wtmass parameter, care should be taken that the analyst understands what values are being input and why. Using the table below, reproduced from the NASA FEMCI page is one of the first steps to help ensure meaningful results can be interpreted from the analysis.
Use Instructions: run the tool and follow the prompts for selections.
Requirements: An existing model in in-lbf or mm-ton model units.
