This excel tool was written by Ian Rivard. It will re-translate a bulk deck through femap so the deck will run in a NX nastran bundle when an enterprise license isn't available. The basic interface is as follows:
Users can specify what type of file they are working with (a preference really) and if they have a single job or a batch job. A single job will prompt the user to select a file, and a batch job will search a directory for the file types indicated (in the above example *.dat or *.bdf). There is an option to pipe the files directly to nastran in series if this option is chosen it is important to have the right nastran selected in the settings sheet. Currently, the script is in beta, but is included in the standard FEMAP API suite from engineeringtools.org. |
