Line Elemement Free Node - Check

Description:

This script will check if any line elements have an end that are not connected to more mesh.

 

Use Instructions:


Run the tool, follow the prompts.


Requirements:

A model with at least line elements.

 

Notes & Example:

This script can be useful when connecting rigids inside solid elements hole locations with cbush. My workflow would be:

  1. run spider nodes to make the rigids
  2. run group rigid center nodes
  3. run cbush connect points nodes
  4. use cbush forces to excel, and or update cbush (pbush) Ks to blast the appropriate stiffness to the cbush
