Description: Working with bulk decks is an efficient way to manage your FEM. I often use an executive deck with includes for various components, especially when solving in MSC Nastran or the femap re-translator. This tool imports multiple bulk decks from a directory in one shot, making it faster than opening each and using the merge function. This is particularly useful when each bulk deck may not be self-contained—e.g., a deck that only contains elements while the nodes it references are in another deck. I use an index in my workflow to ensure the decks import in the desired order. The tool also offers renumbering options, useful when combining several meshes that both start at 1. While the built-in merge function can handle this, the tool can save significant time when importing multiple decks.
Use Instructions: Run the tool and follow the prompts for selections.
Requirements: Existing bulk decks.
